Night rope rescue under Paulson Bridge

A rope rescue below the Paulson Bridge in the Boundary Monday night.

Mike Hudson with South Columbia Search and Rescue says multiple teams responded to the call.

A 50 year old man had got stuck on the rock face while climbing with two others.

The search area was illuminated with floodlights and the mission was completed around 2 am.

Hudson says none of the climbers were properly prepared or equipped for the expedition and he’s stressing the need for proper planning before doing anything like this.
