A big victory for the Nelson Minor Hockey Association.
This as the Nelson Peewee Leafs have been chosen as one of six grand prize winners in Esso’s Medals And Certificates Of Achievement Program.
The Peewee Leafs, who were selected among 15,000 entries across the country, will get $5,000.
The money will go towards new hockey jerseys for all teams under the Nelson Minor Hockey window.
