A rural Fire Chief near Creston is warning people to protect their properties from wildfires.
This following a recent grass fire along Highway 21 that got the attention of the Creston and Canyon Lister Fire Departments.

Guthrie also reminds everyone that fines for causing a wildfire have tripled.
