The City Of Nelson is gearing up for the reinvented Cottonwood Market.
To get the initiative off the ground, city council has set aside $40,000 from the city’s $145,000 Columbia Basin Trust allocation.

The $750,000 overhaul of the Saturday market includes new kiosks, a stage and central plaza.
The city hopes the revamped market will deter those who use Cottonwood Park for unsavoury activities.
