The city of Trail wants to become better engaged with local youth.
They are looking into establishing a Community Youth Network in the Silver City and city council has appointed a representative to hear the needs of youth.
Councilor Eleanor Gattafoni-Robinson hopes to play a big role in the program.
Gattafoni-Robinson will help the city provide information to the Columbia Basin Trust with hopes of qualifying for funds to help with the proposed youth network.
