Mall bus stop to relocate again?

It looks like a happy ending may be on the horizon for transit users who use the bus stop at the Chaka Mika Mall in Nelson.

It will be moved back to the north end of the mall near the Save On Foods after being relocated to the south side near Walmart last year.

The move was necessary for safety reasons.

But Colin Innes, Director Of Public Works, says there are a few details to sort out before they can officially confirm the relocation closer to its original spot.

Innes says he’s optimistic after dealings with the mall owners and he hopes that announcement will come next month.
