An outdoor skatepark in Rossland ticks more than the obvious boxes.

But a key aspect is also that it’s a recreational facility that has very little up-keep costs.
The Youth Action Network and Rossland Skatepark Association have received full backing from the city for their joint application to the CBT to fund the park and a youth centre.
The two groups will cover 30% of the $500,000 cost of the project set for the old Emcon lot.
