In the KIJHL playoffs last night in Castlegar the Grand Forks Border Bruins picked up a 4-2 victory over the Rebels to tie their best of seven Neil Murdoch Division semi final series at one apiece.
Game three goes Friday in Grand Forks.
And in the other Neil Murdoch Division semi final matchup in Fruitvale the Beaver Valley Nitehawks took a 2-0 lead in their best of seven series with a 4-2 win over the Nelson Leafs.
Nelson’s captain Rayce Miller says they need to “up the physicality”.
Former Leaf Nolan Percival had the game winning goal for the Hawks.
