A great opportunity for youth who are looking to further their skills as they move towards joining the work-force.
The Metallurgical Industrial Development Acceleration And Studies has been boosted by a funding injection from the Columbia Basin Trust to set up their digital fabrication lab.
The funding is for $850,000 over the next four years.
Don Freschi is a member with midas, he says the lab will be beneficial for youth who need skill-upgrading.
The lab will open in September.
