Open house slated on Blewett tailings clean-up

Blewett residents are invited to view Teck’s remediation options for cleaning up tailings along Fisherman Road.

Catherine Adair, Teck’s community relations leader, says the options will be presented at an open house Tuesday evening.

It goes from 6:30 till 8 at Blewett elementary school with a short presentation scheduled for 7.

Adair says Teck has been meeting with Blewett residents throughout the process of dealing with the tailings.
