New Trail bridge naming poll starts this week

Will it be the Columbia Crossing … or perhaps the Silver City Bridge?  Or none of the above?

The choice is effectively the community’s when it comes to giving a name to the new $14.5 million pipe pedestrian bridge in Trail.

Andrea Jolly – Communications and Events Coordinator – says city council has decided a process to whittle down the list of names to a top three.

Later this week an online poll will be made available where the public can place a vote for one of the short-listed half dozen names.

Originally there were 88 eligible submissions.
