Another financial boost to improve access to high-speed internet in local rural areas.
The BC Government has announced that $1.1 million in grants has been approved for a second wave of projects funded through the Connecting British Columbia Program.
This includes the Columbia Basin-Boundary Rural and Remote Broadband Connectivity Project.
This was awarded $2.2 million in funding last September, and works with local internet service providers.

This project will provide a number of Kootenay and Boundary communities with improved access to high-speed internet.
