Nelson’s next big revitalization process is now underway.
It’s for the Railtown area, the last undeveloped part of the west side of town, which features the restored CP Rail station.
Manager of Development Services Pam Mierau says the idea is to create a neighborhood that attracts people and more businesses.
The website is nelsonrailtown.com.
A stakeholder committee will meet next month for initial design ideas.

The public will then be invited to an open house February 25th to give their input.
