Day one of the Fields Forward Forum in Creston is being hailed a success.
Upwards of 90 people from a number of sectors attended yesterday’s session including farmers, regional politicians and provincial reps.
The topic of building a thriving agri-food system is the focus of the two-day event.
Facilitator Scott Hutcheson’s impression is positive and he thinks it’s a viable option.

Local MLAÂ Michelle Mungall and MPÂ Wayne Stetski are expected to attend today and speak.
The forum also marks the launch of the Fields Forward Partnership, a 3-year initiative funded by the Creston and District Community Directed Funds.
