A few homes on Perrier Road in Nelson were evacuated Friday night after a vehicle struck a house and started a natural gas leak.
Nelson Fire Rescue Service responded to the incident around 8:40pm.
The gas was safely shut off and the total damage is estimated to be around $10,000, nobody was injured.
RCMP are investigating the cause of the accident.
