Kootenay Employment services in Creston has launched a business retention and expansion project.
The Community Business Pulse will work with 110 businesses between Yahk and Riondel to identify needs, concerns and growth opportunities.
Representative Eden Yesh says they will be randomly selected but will be a cross-section.
Yesh says trained researchers will meet with businesses and gather information which will help identify issues and opportunities.
