Converting all intersections in downtown trail to 4-way stops would not be a safe option.
This from City Councilor Sandy Santori.
He is speaking after council rejected a proposal to make the drastic switch.
The idea was raised after a successful conversion of the intersection of Cedar and Farwell to a 4-way system a few years ago.
Santori says there has been no public demand to support changing the intersections and doesn’t expect it to come back to council anytime in the near future.
