A successful kick-off to this year’s Starlite Campaign at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook.
Just over $54, 000 in donations has already been raised.
EK Foundation for Health Executive Director, Donna Grainger says this is a record-breaking start.
Grainger says the money will go to regional and community health programs across the East Kootenay to purchase smaller equipment.
This year’s goal is to raise $150, 000.
