Grohman Narrows open house tonight

An open house will give the public a chance to voice their latest feedback on a proposal to dredge the Grohman Narrows on the Kootenay River.

It will be at the Prestige Lakeside in Nelson from 6pm til 8pm tonight.

Carly Moran is a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor for BC hydro.

Nothing is decided yet.

Public opinion will be considered as they decide whether to move onto a more detailed second phase of planning.

That could take up to two years to complete.
