The Lower Kootenay Band Chief is optimistic of future dealings with the newly elected NDP MPĀ for Kootenay Columbia.
Jason Louie says he is ready to start working with Wayne Stetski and so far is impressed.
Louie says all they ask for from any party is fairness and a willingness to move forward with first nations issues.
