Castlegar joins voter challenge

The City of Castlegar has thrown their hat into the ring for the voter challenge.

It is a friendly competition initiated in Nelson amongst a number of communities in the region.

It has a common goal of engaging voters and increasing turnout for the federal election next month.

Councilor Deb McIntosh is excited to take part.

She adds this will help register new voters and get them involved.

Information regarding the challenge can be found through the Castlegar Library.
