The hammer is falling on the Kaslo emergency room a few days sooner than expected.
Interior Health originally announced the ER would be reduced to weekday hours only as of Tuesday.
But now it says that due to a doctor shortage it will close as of 5PM Friday.
It won’t re-open until Wednesday at 9AM.
