The Federal Liberal Party candidate for the South Okanagan West Kootenay riding says things are different this election.
Connie Denesiuk knows the region either votes NDP or Conservative.
But she says she’s hit the ground running compared to previous contenders.
Denesiuk adds there’s a big difference in popularity between Justin Trudeau and previous leader Michael Ignatieff.
She also suggests the NDP does not have the same callibre of leadership since the passing of Jack Layton.
