Castlegar outages following storm

Parts of south Castlegar will be without power until this afternoon and perhaps into Wednesday.

This from City Councillor Kevin Chernoff who says he’s been liasing with FortisBC following last night’s major storm.

Chernoff says crews have been working diligently since early this morning.

Fortis BC says they are restoring power to roughly 1,500 customers in areas such as Kaslo, Trail, Ymir, Slocan Valley and Crawford Bay.
